LOS ANGELES, CA – July 12, 2010 – Qual-Pro formally established a dedicated team and area of the factory focused on rapid delivery of customer assemblies.
“After five months of tuning, we have organized the team, optimized the processes and configured the equipment to operate flawlessly in a quick-turn environment. We are able to offer one, two, three, four and five day turns, even on weekends, “ said Brian Shane, Qual-Pro’s Chief Executive Officer.
“Over the last several months, the Qual-Pro Rapid Response Team has executed on more than 30 turnkey, quick-turn requests. Many of these requests included both Design For Manufacturing (DFM) and Design For Test (DFT) analyses. Additionally, the company utilized its new, Acculogic Flying Scorpion FLS 810D flying probe tester to perform power-on, dual-sided diagnostics on most of these assemblies. With our Rapid Response Team, new equipment and factory layout, we are optimized to deliver electronic assemblies quickly. This service further differentiates Qual-Pro and strengthens our 40-year relationship with our customers; I am proud of what the team has accomplished in our quest to provide world-class service to them,” continued Shane.
Qual-Pro’s NPI activities go beyond traditional prototyping to include pilot and short-run manufacturing. To ensure a smooth and seamless transition, NPI support begins with the first dialog about manufacturing and adds value throughout every stage. An experienced engineering team, focused on rapidly delivering products to market, supports our skilled and knowledgeable manufacturing experts. Throughout the entire process the dedicated team mitigates risks to ensure smooth migration from prototype stage to ramp-up stage.
